Keep your plan simple
Start with the ferry, find a comfortable beach spot and leave time for lunch and the return queue. Pack sun protection, plenty of drinking water and familiar snacks. Shallow water still needs active adult supervision.
Before you board
Check the child fare and wagon rules, bring appropriately fitted flotation equipment and check current lifeguard coverage. A shorter day with an early return can be easier than waiting until the final boat.
